67. Plant a garden (vegetable or flower)

I can’t take any credit for this one, but I am going to anyway.

We (Jared) planted a vegetable garden.

I can’t wait until we have fresh fruit and vegetables in our backyard!

49. Visit a friend that lives out of state

This past weekend I met up with my friend, Jen, who lives in San Diego for a fun vacation.

Read about it here.

48. Start a new family tradition

This past General Conference on Sunday, Jared and I got up and make the most delicious breakfast.

We decided right away it will be a tradition in our family to always make it for General Conference.

We made Breakfast Burritos and Orange Julius.

I got the yummiest recipe from here.

Luke was also in heaven which made us just confirm it even more that it is something we will always do.

I hope the traditions we start will be something that my children always remember and want to carry on with their own families.

8. Read & study the book of Isaiah

I finished my book a couple of weeks ago.

It really helped while I was reading the Isaiah chapters in the Book of Mormon.

However, just last night Jared and I were reading in 2 Nephi and it was where Jacob is quoting Isaiah and I didn’t have a clue what he was talking about.

I think I made need to reference the book every time I read Isaiah.

Although, it was a great book to have as a companion while reading and I highly recommend it.
